Bonding Bunnies Part Trois

Well, it's been a little over a week since I last posted.  Things have gone a little downhill.   Growing pains I hope.

When I ended Part Deux, I explained that Tiny and Mr. Noodles were in the throes of establishing dominance and submissiveness.  Unfortunately, since both have the wills of graphene (http://engineering.columbia.edu/even-defects-graphene-strongest-material-world) things have been a little 'cool' between them.

Tiny tends to get upset by squeaking as soon as Mr. Noodles approaches her.  He wants to cuddle and be groomed.  She wants to pummel him and lunges as he nears.  Most of her anger is but for the fact that he's a 'shuffler.'  They each have little shelters in the corner of their spaces and each have blankets.  Tiny likes hers rumpled in a certain way and she shuffles things from one side to the other side, within the confines of her shelter.

Mr. Noodles on the other hand, invades her shelter and removes her blankets right from under her.  Takes them all out and shuffles them right to the other side of the room.  She gets totally upset and pissed off.  Mr. Noodles doesn't give one shit about her feelings in all of this.  He's a selfish little guy.

They still are circling, lunging, nipping, and squeaking, less humping.  The positive side to all of this is that they still rest near each other.  They still eat side by side.  They still clean themselves near the other.  So I know, it's just a matter of time.  Just frustrating is all.  Oh, the joys of bonding.

Here's to hoping that our bonding processes will all be successful!  :)
